Starting and monitoring AxioWorks SQList activity
We are now ready to start the replication of our article list on to the SQL database. Launch from the Start menu (by default, > > > > ) and start the service as shown below.
6.1 In SQList Manager, select the tab and click the button; monitor the progress on the Event Viewer box and wait until SQList has completed the first cycle as shown in the screenshots below.
6.2 The table has been created in the database and its structure mirrors the structure of the list in Sharepoint.
Important: note that, if you open the table at this point, there will we no records yet. This is because we enabled on the Sharepoint list and SQList will not replicate entryes taht have not been approved.
Next step: let's approve the articles in Sharepoint so that they get replicated by SQList on to the SQL table.
